Ranger ist eine wundervolle Persönlichkeit: er ist sanft und immer darauf bedacht zu gefallen. Er ist ein guter Fresser und Säufer mit einer soliden Schulter und kräftiger Hinterhand. Ranger ist ein gut ausbalancierter Schlittenhund und als solcher auch bewährt. In seinen sieben Rennsaisons ist er bei keinem Rennen wegen einer Verletzung ausgefallen. Nur zweimal hatte er ein wundes Gelenk, aber nie so schlimm, dass er aus dem Team musste.
Ein sanftes Wesen, aber hart im Kopf und aufs Laufen fixiert, wenn er im Geschirr ist. Ranger ist der geborene Leader und war immer in Lead, wenn er gebraucht wurde. Seine hauptsächliche Position über all die Jahre jedoch war in Point gleich hinter den Leadern. Er ist ein Hund der einen hohen Speed über Distanzen gehen kann und hat einen sehr guten Stoffwechsel. Ranger verträgt sich gut mit anderen Hunden und möchte seinem Musher immer Freude machen.

Ranger steht geeigneten Hündinnen als Deckrüde zur Verfügung.

Ranger has a wonderful personality gentle and always wants to please.
He is a very good eater and drinker with a solid shoulder and powerful rear, Ranger is a well balanced sleddog and proven at that. In 7 years of racing he has never missed a race in his career due to a injury. Only twice in his running career he had a sore wrist but never to the point of keeping him off the team. Gentle in nature but strong minded and focused when put in harness. Ranger also is a natural leader and has raced in lead at times when needed but his main position over the years has always been in point, just behind the leaders. He is a dog that carries good speed over distance and has a very good metabolism. Ranger is good natured with other dogs and always wants to please his master.

Ranger ist mit 9 Jahren das erste Mal in der Pulka gelaufen und nahm im Team von Klaus Holtmann an der Schlittenhunde-Weltmeisterschaft im März 2008 in Ǻsarna/Schweden teil.
